Gwendolyn Rene Colvin of Uvalde passed away on August 22, 2017 at the age of 64 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 6, 1953 in Victoria, Texas to Elvin Dean and Emma L. (Steward) Mosley. She married Daryl Colvin on March 29, 1999 in Robstown, Texas.
She was former owner of the Tickled Pink Mastectomy Boutique and founder of Tickled Pink Breast Cancer Support Group.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years of Uvalde; sons, Danny Wynn and wife Carla of Austin and Donnie Wynn and Kelly Kay of Dallas; step daughter, Vergina Colvin of Austin; sisters, Mary Greathouse of Corpus Christi and Deborah Brown of Palestine; brothers, Elvin Mosley of Victoria, David Mosley of La Grange, Morris Mosley of Dallas, Lawrence Mosley of Corpus Christi, Larry Mosley and Gerald Mosley both of San Antonio and Brian Gibson of Corpus Christi; grandchildren, Kara Wynn, Darius Wynn, Elijah Wynn, Makenzie Wynn, Peytan Smith and Caitlin Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Emma Stanford, Linda Cook and brother, Bradford Mosley.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Baptist Temple in Uvalde. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
