Harold Henkel

Harold Joseph Henkel of Uvalde, passed away at his residence on Friday, August 27, 2021 at the age of 83.

Harold was born on March 14, 1938 in Abilene, Texas to Joseph George and Anna Alwina (Bonktke) Henkel.

He married Donna Hayes on June 16, 2018 in Knippa.

Harold was an Army veteran, a Lifetime member of the American Legion, a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Knippa. He was an avid fisherman.

Harold is survived by his wife of 3 years, Donna Mae Henkel of Uvalde; half sister, Susan Durant and husband Mark of Minnesota; half brother, Rodney Ramacher and wife Sharon of Minnesota; and two nieces, two nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Knippa.

Cremation under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
