Hector Garcia

Hector C. Garcia of Uvalde passed away on August 3, 2015 at his residence at the age of 59. He was born on September 9, 1955 in Uvalde to Willie and Bernice(Chapoy) Garcia, Sr. He is survived by his parents; wife, Josefina Garcia; sons, Hector Garcia, Jr. of San Antonio; Benito Garcia and wife Brandy of Odessa; Eliseo Garcia and David Garcia and wife Selina Camacho all of Uvalde; sisters, Sylvia Garcia of San Antonio; Cynthia Perez and husband Elias and Lisa Hernandez and husband Manuel all of Uvalde; and brother, Willie and wife Peggy Garcia, Jr.; twelve grandchildren , 1 great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, Wednesday, August 5, 2015 and Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Hector Garcia, Benito Garcia, David Garcia, Willie Garcia III, Steven Hernandez, Marshall Perez, Michael Hernandez and Jimmy Chapoy.
