Helen Pelt

Helen Lucille Van Pelt of Concan passed away on October 4, 2014 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 92. She was born on August 27, 1922 in Uvalde to Emmett Curtis Nelson and Marie Davenport Nelson. She is survived by a son, Tommy Van Pelt and wife, Patti of Concan two daughters, Shirley Sliter of Concan and Diane Thomas and husband, Lynn of Brownwood, TX brother, Milton Nelson of Houston five grandchildren, Tim Ramback Aaron Ramback Chris Van Pelt Melissa Gadbois and Mandy Horst and two greatgrandchildren, Dilana Gadbois and Levi Ramback. She was preceded in death by her parents husband, Thomas Hammer Van Pelt and two brothers, E.C. Nelson and Albert Foster Nelson. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM in Concan Cemetery. Mr. Paul Stephens will officiate.
