Helen Reyes

Helen Reyes, 74, of Uvalde, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023, at Northeast Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.

She was born on May 5, 1949, in Uvalde to Carmen (Garcia) and Alejandro Reyes.

She is survived by five daughters, Monica Bates and husband Jay of Kyle, Esmeralda Franco and husband Cesar of Dale, Elsa Morales of San Antonio, Christina Pena and husband Corey of San Antonio and Helen Sanchez and husband Marco of San Antonio; son Raymundo Morales and wife Vanessa Rodriguez of Uvalde; 21 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Alejandro Morales and Fernando Morales and parents.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. followed by a rosary at 8:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church.

Pallbearers will be Raymundo Morales Jr., Alejandro Morales Jr., Mark Anthony Morales, Jonathan Scott Morales, Haiden Morales, Antonio Gomez and Marco Sanchez.

Cremation under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
