Helen Wightman

Helen Webb Wightman of Utopia passed away on June 5, 2009 in Methodist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 79. She was born on May 2, 1930 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Dr. William and Olive Webb. She married Robert Wightman on August 22, 1953 in Mobile, Alabama. She is survived by her husband of 55 years Robert Bob Wightman of Utopia, Texas; one daughter; Karen Chadwick and husband, John of Boerne, Texas; two sons; William D. Wightman and wife, Catherine of Clear Lake, Texas; and Martin B. Wightman of Kerrville, Texas; grandchildren; Virginia Gasparini of Tomball, Texas; Crystal Chadwick of Houston, Texas; Kimberly Wightman and Brian Wightman both of Clear Lake, Texas; great grandchildren; Luca Alberto Gasparini and Elena Grace Gasparini both of Tomball, Texas; cousin; Sylvia Bebinger of San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, James Allan Webb. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Utopia United Methodist Church in Utopia, Texas at 1:30PM. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society 8115 Data Point Dr. San Antonio, Texas 78229. Cremation under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
