Helen Ybarra

Helen Ybarra of Sabinal passed away on August 2, 2016 at Hondo Community Care Center and Rehabilitation at the age of 90. She was born on July 21, 1926 in Sabinal to Porfirio and Catarina (Lopez) Flores. She married Feliberto Ybarra in Sabinal on August 26, 1945. She is survived by her daughters, Odilia Y. Silvas and husband Roy of Sabinal, Belia Y. Garcia and husband Amado of Houston, Lupe Y. Gutierrez and husband Sal of San Antonio, Alicia Y Ramos and husband Juan of Santa Maria, California, Barbara Y Alvares of Sabinal and Josie Y. Villarreal and husband Luis of Pearsall; son, Gilberto "Boy" Ybarra of Gainesville and Joe Ybarra of Chicago, Illinois; sisters, Lupe Sandoval of Sabinal and Julia Reyna of Los Angeles, California; 18 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sisters, Petra F. Laughlin, Juanita F. Pruneda and Elvira F. Alejandro; brothers, Alfonso Flores, Camilo Flores and Pete Flores, Jr.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sabinal. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery
