Henry Chapa

Henry Chapa of Uvalde passed away on November 14, 2014 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 61. He was born on February 23, 1953 in Uvalde, Texas to Joe Villarreal and Mercedes Ortiz Chapa. He married Annie Luna in Batesville on April 9, 1972. He is survived by his daughters Marie M. Mirelez, Patricia Chapa and Gabriella Silva all of Uvalde and Jessica Ann Rodriguez of Batesville sons, Enrique Chapa, Jr. and Ventura Chapa both of Uvalde sisters, Evangelina Ramos of Killeen, Dora Terrazas, Diamantina Chapa both of Uvalde, Enedina Chapa of Austin and Irma Chapa of Chicago, Ill. brother Joey Chapa of Uvalde fourteen grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents one sister Mary Helen Chapa. A prayer service will be held on Sunday, November 16 and Monday, November 17, 2014 at 7:00 pm at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Templo Cristiano Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Ramos, Jimmie Luna, Jim Aviles, John Terrazas, DAndre Carroll and Adam Mirelez.
