Herminia Martinez

Herminia R. Martinez of Uvalde passed away on February 28, 2011 in her residence at the age of 92. She was born on October 29, 1918 in Batesville, Texas to Antonio and Francisca Baltazar Rios. She is survived by five daughters Estella M. Garcia and husband, Valentin, Frances Martinez, Anita De La Cerda and husband, Agustin all of Uvalde, Texas Olga Ramirez and husband, Juan of Mercedes, Texas and Irma Mikulenka and husband, David of San Antonio, Texas four sons Ricardo Martinez and wife, Sulema David Martinez and wife, Sylvia Oscar Martinez and Raul Martinez all of Uvalde, Texas one sister Belia Mata of Uvalde, Texas sixteen grandchildren twentytwo great grandchildren five greatgreat grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents husband, Miguel Martinez one sister Emiteria Hernandez two brothers Emilio Rios and Raymundo Rios and one grandson. A rosary will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday March 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
