Hipolito Cruz Sr.

Hipolito De La Cruz Sr. of Uvalde passed away on June 28, 2011 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 75. He was born on August 22, 1935 to Julian and Hermelinda Ramirez De La Cruz in Palmira, Coahuila, Mexico. He is survived by his daughters Maria Valdez and husband Eloy, Virtudes Valdez and husband Eli both of Uvalde, sons Jesus De La Cruz and wife Nellie of Round Rock, Ervey De La Cruz and wife Eva of Mexico, sister Maria Luisa De La Cruz of Mexico brothers, Uvaldo De La Cruz, Fortunato De La Cruz, Emilio Castillo all of Mexico, Efrain Marin of Killen 10 grandchildren, 4 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Sara Medina De La Cruz, and son Hipolito De La Cruz Jr. Rosary will be held on Wednesday June 29, 2011 and Thursday June 30, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on July 1, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cesar De La Cruz, Ervey De La Cruz, Alejandro De La Cruz, Eli Valdez Jr., Eloy Valdez Jr. and Eloy Valdez Sr
