Hortencia Prado

Hortencia Prado of Batesville passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 in Uvalde at the age of 58.
Hortencia was born on November 21, 1959 in Crystal City to Francisco and Aurora (Vasquez) Prado. She is survived by two daughters, Monica Cuellar and Maria Anita Zavala both of Batesville; one brother, Arnulfo Prado of Batesville; two grandchildren, Nayeli Yackelyn Hernandez and Darryl Francysco Darden; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Teodosa Campos and Minerva Acosta, two brothers, Ernesto Prado Sr. and Francisco Prado Jr.
Hortencia love to bake, cook and dancing.
A rosary will be held on Saturday, January 20, and Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Batesville.
Pallbearers will be Jaime Campos, Gustavo Prado, Jesus Prado, Noe Campos, Ramiro Acosta, Antonio Acosta and Darryl Darden.
Cremation under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
