Irene Agreda

Irene M. Agreda of Uvalde passed away on June 2, 2018 in Uvalde at the age of 76. She was born on February 25, 1942 in Uvalde, Texas to Guadalupe and Rosa (Cardenas) Martinez.
She is survived by her sons, Jose C. Gonzales and wife, Graciela Garza of Eagle pass and Jorge Luis Gonzales and wife, Mary of Kerrville; sister, Ruth Martinez of Uvalde; brothers, Carlos Martinez, Ismael Martinez, Andres Martinez and Jose Martinez all of Uvalde; 6 grandchildren, Alisa Gonzales Sneed and wife, Natalie, Jose Carlos Gonzales, Jr. and wife, Sarah, Cindy M. Garza and husband, C.J., Blas Gonzales and wife, Elizabeth, George Gonzales, Jr. and wife, Veronica and Danyelle A. Gonzales; and 12 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Fidel Agreda; sisters, Noemi Mills, Sulema Coronado, Andrea Rodriguez and brother, Raymundo Martinez.
A rosary will be held on Monday and Tuesday at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jose A. Gonzales, Jr., Blas A. Gonzales, Matthew Villa, George Gonzales, Jr. and C.J. Garza.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeyden R. Gonzales and Jordan A. Gonzales.
