Irineo Martinez

Irineo Roberto Martinez of La Pryor passed away on January 15, 2012 at Main Methodist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 73. He was born on March 29, 1939 in Cline, Texas to Irineo and Trinidad Reyes Martinez. He is survived by his daughters, Diana Martinez, Patricia Martinez, Rachel Martinez all of La Pryor, Alicia Martinez of El Paso, sons, David Martinez Roberto Martinez Jerry Martinez and Antonio Martinez all of La Pryor, brother, Mario Martinez of La Pryor, exwife, Juanita Ayala Martinez of La Pryor, 24 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Maria M. Salazar, brothers, Guadalupe Martinez, Juan Martinez and Francisco Martinez.A prayer service will be held on January 17, 2012 and January 18, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Templo Gethsemani in La Pryor. Burial will follow at LaPryor Cemetery. Burial will follow at LaPryor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Martinez, Samuel Martinez Uballe, Jerry Daniel Martinez, Santos Vera IV, Antonio Martinez Jr., Frank Martinez Jr., Guadalupe Martinez Jr. and Ricardo Martinez. Honorary pallbearers will be Jody Cervantez, Joel Quijano, Anatolio Tellez, Guadalupe Garcia, Fidel Salazar, Elias Rios, Raul Martinez, Adolfo Quintana, George Martnez Uballe, Ray Martinez Uballe, Nathaniel Martinez, Cornelio Martinez, Julius Adame and Marcus Adame.
