Isabel Lopez Jr.

Mr. Isabel C. "Vilo" Lopez Jr. of Concan passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in Uvalde at the age of 76. He was born on July 31, 1939 in Sabinal to Vicenta (Campos) and Ysabel Lopez Sr. Mr. Lopez married Lupe Gomez on March 31, 1960 in Sabinal. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Lupe G. Lopez of Con Can; daughter Elizabeth "Lisa" Ruiz and husband Ricky of Uvalde; two sons Armando Lopez and wife Belinda of San Antonio and Joe Lopez and wife Rita of Sabinal; six grandchildren Elma Ruiz, Ricky Ruiz, Adam Lopez, Kaitlin Lopez, Aaron Lopez and Sergio Valdez; one great grandson Noah Anthony Gonzales, one great granddaughter, Lillian Valdez and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Lopez was preceded in death by his parents and brother Arnold Lopez.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Uvalde. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 3:00 pm at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sabinal with burial to follow at Sabinal Cemetery.
