Isabel Reyes

Isabel F. Reyes of Uvalde passed away on February 11, 2008 in her residence in Uvalde, Texas at the age of 93. She was born on November 19, 1914 in Uvalde, Texas to Rosendo and Modesta Flores. She is survived by three daughters; Odelia R. Garcia of Uvalde, Texas; Olga R. Estrada of Lynnwood, Washington; and Olivia R. Canales of Bryan, Texas; one son; Moises Reyes Jr. of Uvalde, Texas; sisters; Mercedes F. Nevarez of Burley, Idaho; and Gregoria F. Ortiz of Milwaukee, Oregon; 7 granddaughters; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Moises Reyes, son; Ruben F. Reyes; three sisters and three brothers. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 7:00PM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Uvalde Catholic Cemetery. Father Wieslaw Iwaniec will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tom Collins; Adolph Sonny Diaz; Raymond Garza; Bryan Gutierrez; John Olson; Rene C. Uriegas Jr.; Robert Barkley III. Hororary Pallbearers will be Christopher Palmer Olson; Cristian Rene Uriegas; Robert Barkley IV; Lidia Kathe Gutierrez; Taylor Rene Canales; Rodolfo Alejandro Canales; Moises Isaac Reyes; Esequiel Jun Collins; Christopher Alexander Lapp; and Lydia Josefa Garza.
