Jack Claude Capps of San Antonio, Texas formerly of Sabinal, Texas passed away on February 3, 2021 at his residence in San Antonio at the age of 82. He was born on March 24, 1938 in Hobart, Oklahoma to Earl Lester and Cora O. (Simon) Capps. Jack joined the United States Air Force in 1958 and served honorably for four years.
He is survived by his three sons, Louis Frank Morgan and wife Ofelia May of Sabinal, Texas, Kerry Morgan and wife Natalie of Sabinal, Texas and Jay Maples of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Amy Estep of Dallas, Texas; brother Gene Capps and wife Rosalie of Devine, Texas; sister-in-law, Doris Capps of San Antonio, Texas; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents, Earl Lester and Cora O. (Simon) Capps; sisters, Betty Dillard and Edna Heath; and brothers, Lloyd Capps, Robert Capps, Wayne Capps, Joe Capps, Edward Capps, and Pat Capps.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Sabinal from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 2:00PM the Sabinal Cemetery in Sabinal, Texas off of US HWY 90.
