Jack Nelson

Jack Nelson of Reagan Wells went to be with the Lord on March 8, 2010 in San Antonio at the age of 96. He was born on June 13, 1913 in Rockhill, SC to William Jackson and Grace Caroline Johnson Nelson. He is survived by two daughters, Ann Nelson of Brookshire, TX and Glynis Peterson and husband, Dick of Reagan Wells son, George Nelson of Uvalde brother, Andrew Johnson Nelson and wife, Margie of Reagan Wells and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Emma Heard, and a brother, C.R. Nelson. A family visitation will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 6:00 8:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Reagan Wells Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Heard Cemetery. Bro. Jim ODell and Bro. Willis Adair will officiate. Pallbearers will be James Monroe, Philip Crow, Ray Langford, Kenneth White, Curt White, Kenny Miller, Ricky Musquez, Pete Speer, and Jimmy Simons.
