Jackie Baker

Jackie Lee Baker of Kendalia passed away on July 11, 2016 at Happy Living Care Home in Boerne at the age of 77. She was born on July 29, 1938 in Bandera to James Noble Cravey and Bessie Lorene (Haby) Cravey. She married Ray Baker on September 11, 1956 in Leakey. She is survived by her husband of 59 years; three sons, Ron Baker and wife, Mary Lou of Laredo, Don Baker of Uvalde, and Michael Baker and wife, Lauren of Spring; four sisters, Shirley Greenwalt of Castroville, Margaret Davis of Uvalde, Jamie Harris of San Antonio, and Joyce Herndon of Hondo; and brother, Douglas Cravey of Little Elm; eight grandchildren, Ronda Martens, Ashley Applegate, Jessica Williams, Ryan Baker, Blake Baker, Logan Baker, Callie Baker, and Cade Baker; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, James Ray Cravey. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 9:30 AM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary with burial following in Leakey Cemetery. Mr. J.R. Baker will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ron Baker, Don Baker, Michael Baker, Ryan Baker, Blake Baker, and Logan Baker.
