James Alderson

James Hubert Herb Alderson of Uvalde passed away on April 11, 2008 at his residence at the age of 82. He was born on August 22, 1925 in Sinton, Texas to William and Mattie Alderson. He married Agnes Catherine Terry on November 29, 1946 in Brownsville, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Catherine Alderson of Uvalde, Texas; four sons; Terry Alderson of Dallas, Texas; Gary Alderson of Uvalde, Texas; James Alderson of Canyon Lake, Texas; and Jerry Duane Bo Alderson of Uvalde, Texas; one brother; Warren Curtis Alderson of Lewisville, Arkansas; seventeen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and two more on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter; Kathy Diane Alderson Jongema; four sisters; Susie Lee Edwards, Zora Belle Mundine, Lita Lucille Alderson, and Jo Virginia Vickery; two brothers; William Womas Alderson, and Thomas Vickers Alderson. Funeral services were held on Sunday, April 13, 2008 at 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
