James Amaya

James R. Amaya of Sabinal, Texas passed away on July 14, 2011 in Sabinal at the age of 49. He was born in Canyon, Texas on June 1, 1962 to Jose and Henrietta Ramirez Amaya. He is survived by his parents, Joe and Henrietta Amaya of Sabinal, Tx. sister Yolanda Amaya of Glendale, Calif. brothers Joe Amaya Jr. of Aurora, Ill. and Richard Amaya of Bakersfield, Calif. numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Ray Amaya. A rosary will be held on Sunday night at 7:00 PM at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel in Sabinal. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 18, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Sabinal, Texas. Fr. Antonio Hernandez will officiate.
