James Bowen

James Robert Bowen of Utopia passed away on August 21, 2010 at the age of 57. He was born on August 20, 1953 in San Antonio to John Patrick and Adelee West Bowen. He married Kim Donoho in Utopia on November 7, 1998. He is survived by his wife, Kim Bowen of Utopia mother, Adelee Bowen of Jourdanton two sons, Jacob Bowen and wife, Valerie of New Braunfels and James Robert Bowen II of Amarillo a daughter, Jennifer Longoria and husband, Jeremy of Christine, TX three sisters, Sherry Broom and husband, Henry of Verdi, TX Patti Bowen, and Cindy Brister and husband, Bubba, all of Christine, TX a brother, John Patrick Bowen, Jr. and wife, Brenda of Christine, TX six grandchildren, Tristan, Bailey, and Tyler Longoria and Jackson, Max, and Brooks Bowen and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the 1st Baptist Church in Utopia with burial to follow in Waresville Cemetery. Rev. Lee Bevly will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jacob Bowen Johnny Bowen Jeremy Longoria Michael West Brandon Broom Justin Stuart Patrick Bowen and Carl Bowen.
