James Burns, Jr.

James Robert Burns, Jr. of Ft. Clark Springs passed away on September 13, 2014 at his residence at the age of 81. He was born on February 21, 1933 in Colby, Kansas to James Robert Burns, Sr. and Edna Belle Duck Burns. He is survived by his wife, Dale Burns of Ft. Clark Springs two daughters, Janet Lynn Burns of Missouri and Lori OBrien of California son, Gene Burns of California and two sisters, Wanda Melton and Ruth Freeman of Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents son, Jeffrey Burns, and a sister. Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 1:15 PM at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation was under the direction of RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary, Uvalde, TX.
