James Corzine

James Leroy Corzine of San Antonio, formerly of Sabinal, passed away on March 15, 2011 at his residence at the age of 92. He was born on July 20, 1918 in San Antonio. He married Dorothy Paduh in San Antonio on January 31, 1942. She preceded him in death in 2005. Mr. Corzine was raised in Sabinal and graduated from Sabinal High School. He was a star golfer, winning several club championships in the San Antonio area. He had English bulldog showdogs and participated in dog shows all over the U.S. He is survived by a son, Joe Perry Corzine of San Antonio. He was preceded in death by his wife and a son, Lee Shelby Corzine. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel in Sabinal with burial to follow in Sabinal Cemetery.
