James Gilmore

James William Gilmore of Grand Prairie passed away Friday, September 21, 2018 at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington at the age of 52. He was born on July 16, 1966 in Grand Prairie to Donald W. and Abelina (Martinez) Gilmore.
Mr. Gilmore is survived by his mother, Abelina Gilmore of Grand Prairie; sisters, Eloisa Inez Gilmore and Ernestine Benita Gilmore both of Grand Prairie; aunts, Victoria Pena, Rita Mize and Lidia Martinez of Uvalde, Dolores Duran of Eagle Pass, Gracie Perez of Houston and Ramona Krause of Wisconsin; uncles, Roger M. Gilmore of Maryland, Frank Martinez of Kerrville, Carlos Martinez of Michigan, Ignacio Martinez and Tomas Martinez both of Uvalde and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A prayer service will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Rolando Rivera, Dora Florek, Danny Florek, Nacho Martinez Jr., Ernie Martinez and James Mize.
