James C. Terrill of Uvalde passed away on October 27, 2012 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 81. He was born on September 22, 1931 in Ruston, LA to James Marshall and Mary Hazel Boddie Terrill. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Terrill of Uvalde two daughers, Margie Damon DeGeorge and husband, Steve of Kinney County and Darlene Bailey and husband, Steve of Boerne one son, Mike Terrill and wife, Carolyn of Hempstead, TX brother, Robert M. Terrill of Ingram, TX five grandchildren and 6 greatgrandchildren. James was retired from Armco Steel Corp. He was also a police officer on the first police force for the Seabrook Police Dept. and he helped incorporate the City in 1961. He was a former Police Chief in Shoreacres, TX and Willis, TX. He later moved to Kerr County and was a City Marshal for Ingram, TX. James was a member of the Masonic Lodge in La Porte, TX.
Cremation was under the direction of RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary.
