James Ursillo

Ursillo, James Jimmy R., 66, husbandof Marlene Pearcey Ursillo and a resident of Sabinal, TX, formerly of Cranston, RI, died on February 3, 2009 after a brief illness. James Ursillo was born in Providence, RI, and grew up on Laurel Hill Ave. in the Silver Lake Section of Providence. He lived at 184 Whiting St. until 1986 and then at 85 Thomas Lane in Cranston, RI until 2004. Son of James Ursillo and Helen Rotelli Ursillo of Rhode Island. He leaves sons Robert J. Ursillo of Cranston, RI, Brian C. Ursillo and his wife Jeanne of San Jose, CA, daughter Nicole Ursillo of Warwick, RI, and stepdaughter Elizabeth M. Briggs of Providence, RI. He also leaves two grandsons Jack and Alex Ursillo of San Jose, CA. He was previously married to the mother of his children, Bonnie Brelsford Robinson. BRMr. Ursillo was the owner and president of Urschel Tool Co. in Cranston. He was actively involved in youth football for many years as a coach, and former president of both CLCF Football and the SWRI Pop Warner Football Conference. He was a former member of Valley Country Club. In Sabinal, TX, he became active in the community, serving on the EMS board, working with the town council, and playing piano at the First Baptist Church. He was a member of Uvalde Memorial Golf Course. BRHis funeral will be held at The First Baptist Church of Sabinal at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 10. Burial at Sabinal Cemetery. Visitation Monday, February 9 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Funeral Home in Sabinal..
