Cynthia Jan Wardlaw of Uvalde, born June 17, 1943, passed away April 19, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents Opal and Flavil Ingram, her first husband Ralph H. Harris III, her second husband Louis J Wardlaw II, grandson Ralph H. Harris IV and granddaughter Rebecca Gwin Vink.

She was born in Del Rio, Texas and spent her early childhood in Crystal City, Texas. She grew up with three siblings whom she adored, Kay Shelton of Boerne, Texas, Mike Ingram of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Rick Ingram of Medina, Texas. She graduated from Uvalde High School in 1961.

She married Ralph Harris III on June, 10, 1962. She and Ralph had three children: Randy Harris of Magnolia, Texas, Cindy Harris of Sabinal, Texas and Marcy Kay Harris of Houston.

After the death of her first husband, she married Louis J. Wardlaw on May 30, 1972. She and Louis had one son, Sutton W. Wardlaw of Uvalde, Texas.

The joy of her life was raising her children on which she spent every ounce of energy. She had a keen mind and enjoyed crossword puzzles, spending time with her "momfia", and playing bridge with her friends. Holidays were always exciting times and she took joy in cooking for her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Sutton W. Wardlaw, his wife Nealie, and granddaughters Emma, Ellason, and Camryn, all of Uvalde; a daughter Marcy Kay Harris of Houston; a daughter Cynthia Ann Harris, husband Rich Vink of Sabinal, Texas; grandsons Christian, Mac, Bleu and Garrett and granddaughter Kaylee. She is also survived by a son Randall Scott Harris, his wife Karen of Magnolia, Texas, and their two daughters Kelly and Courtney, wife to Garrett Rimel.

She is also survived by two stepchildren, Louis J. Wardlaw III of Jakarta, Indonesia, and Deborah Wardlaw of Kerrville, Texas, and grandchildren Reagan, Louis, Deborah and great grandchildren Merritt and Catena.

She is also survived by her sister Kay Shelton of Boerne, Texas, her brother Mike Ingram and wife Debra Ingram of Colorado Springs, Colorado, brother Rick Ingram of Medina, Texas and nephews Doug and Kyle Ingram, Lance and Kevin Shelton and a niece Rachael Garrow.

Pallbearers are Lance Shelton, Kevin Shelton, Rich Vink, Christian Withrow, McKenzie Withrow, Bleu Withrow, Garrett Vink, Garrett Rimel, Thomas Sistrunk and Mark Sistrunk.

Family visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

A memorial service will be held at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel Friday, April 24, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Uvalde.
