Janice Mcclure

Janice O. McClure of Montell passed away on August 24, 2015 at her residence at the age of 82. She was born on September 3, 1932 in San Antonio to Japtha Price Landrum and Pearl Olive (Seale) Landrum. She married Robert Allen McClure in Uvalde on September 10, 1961. He preceded her in death in 2011. She is survived by a son, Raleigh McClure of San Antonio; and two daughters, Julie Sue McCaughan and husband, William of San Angelo, and Paula Jean Stonecipher of Missouri; daughter-in-law, Jeanie Farris of Missouri; five grandchildren, Michelle McCaughan; Daniel McCaughan; Amanda Leek; R.J. McClure; and Roberta Russell; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two daughters, Roberta Jean McClure and Janice Kay Craig; son, Daniel Thomas Craig; two brothers; and two sisters. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary with burial following in Hillcrest Cemetery. The McClure family would like to extend a special thank you to Uvalde Hospice for their kindness and support during this difficult time.
