Janie Garza

Janie F. Garza of Uvalde passed away on June 21, 2008 in Uvalde Healthcare Rehab at the age of 78. She was born on June 24, 1929 in Paint Rock, Texas to Manuel and Enedina Garza. She is survived by one daughter; Nora Martinez and husband, Juan of Uvalde, Texas; one son, Juan Manuel Garza of Uvalde, Texas; two sisters; Maria G. Sanchez of Uvalde, Texas; and Cipriana G. Cano of California; one brother; Polo Garza of San Angelo, Texas; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; Jesus Garza, Santos Galindo, Augustine Garza, and Catarino Garza; two sisters; Angela G. Pedroza and Josefa G. Rangel. A rosary was held on Sunday, June 22, 2008 at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Cremation under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
