Janine Renee Nelson

Janine Renee Richard Nelson, 62, of Reagan Wells, Texas passed away Friday October 4th at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio Texas. She was born May 19, 1962 in Dover Delaware. She married Will Dexter Nelson on October 10, 1992 in Reagan Wells, Texas.

Janine was a retired secretary for the Fort Worth ISD at Daggett Montessori School, a loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, mother, grandmother and friend. Her greatest joy came from the children around her, whether hers or someone else’s, particularly anytime she heard the call “Mom, Aunt J, Momma Nelson or Gran-Gran”. She reveled at being a part of these kids lives and watching them grow, mature and become adults.

Janine was active in her boys lives as a Baseball, Football, Band and Boy Scout Mom. She was a member of the Reagan Wells Baptist Church and loved singing in the choir.

Janine is survived by her husband Will Dexter Nelson of Reagan Wells, Texas; sons Andrew Nelson and fiancée Lindsay White of College Station, Texas; Jacob Nelson and wife Brianna Nelson of Post, Texas; John Nelson and fiancée Savanna Foster of Fort Worth, Texas; mother Brenda Richard of Knippa,Texas; grandchildren Tyler, Calvin, James, Lillian, and Paisley and numerous nieces and nephews.

Janine was preceded in death by her father and mother Jim “JR” and Lula Richard and her brother James Richard.

A memorial service will be held at the Reagan Wells Baptist Church at 11am Saturday October 19th.
