Jason Phillips

Jason Earl Phillips of Batesville passed away on July 23, 2008 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 33. He was born on June 13, 1975 in Clarksville, Tennessee to Teodoso and Betty Caballero. He married Delma Garza in Batesville, Texas on March 8, 1999. He is survived by his wife Delma Phillips of Batesville, Texas; parents; Teodoso and Betty Caballero of Batesville, Texas; grandparents; Gabriel and Pasquala Caballero of Batesville, Texas and Tommie Faye Smit of Freeport, Texas; one son; Jason Cody Phillips of Batesville, Texas; one sister; Tina Caballero of Batesville, Texas; three brothers; Shannon Caballero and Michael Phillips both of Uvalde, Texas, and Billy Phillips of Hutto, Texas; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Batesville, Texas with burial to follow in Batesville Cemetery. Brother Johnny Whiteaker will officiate. Pallbearers will be Daniel Garza, Juan Luna Jr., Lucio Vasquez, Armando Garza Jr., Joe Ayala, and Anthony Garcia.
