Javier Bermudez

Javier Bermudez Castaneda of Uvalde passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in Fredericksburg, Texas at the age of 46. He was born on March 14, 1971 in Muzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico to Paulo Bermudez Lopez and Blanca Estella Castaneda. He married Guadalupe Gutierrez Martinez in Muzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico on June 12, 1993.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years of Uvalde; father, Paulo and wife, Gloria Bermudez of Uvalde; mother, Blanca Bermudez Castaneda of Muzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico; daughters, Isabel Bermudez and Blanca Edith Bermudez both of Uvalde; sister, Blanca Azusena Bermudez Castaneda and husband, Manuel Garcia Gutierrez of Muzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico; brothers, Francisco M. Bermudez and wife, San Juana and Paulo Bermudez Castaneda all of Uvalde, Gaston Santos Bermudez Castaneda and wife, Gabriela Bermea Esquivel and Armando Bermudez Castaneda and wife, Guadalupe Calzoncit Maldonado all of Melchor, Coahuila, Mexico; James Carlos Bermudez and wife, Erica, Danny Bermudez and Joe Michael Bermudez and wife, Viviana Cabral all of Uvalde; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Juan Bermudez.
A rosary will be held on Monday and Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Francisco M. Bermudez, Paulo Bermudez Castaneda, Armando Bermudez Castaneda, Joe Michael Bermudez, James Bermudez, Danny Bermudez and Gabriel Bermudez.
