Jean Ballard

Mrs. Jean Anne Beckett Ballard of Uvalde passed away at Methodist Texsan Heart Hospital in San Antonio, Texas on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the age of 79.
Mrs. Ballard was born to Laura (Seal) and Thomas Beckett in Eston, Saskatchewan, Canada on June 14, 1935. She married Robert "Bob" Ballard on Oct. 8, 1961 in Madison, Wisconsin.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years of Uvalde; one son, Patrick Ballard of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one brother, Garth Beckett of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; two granddaughters, Laura Ballard and Andrea Robinson of Colorado and two great grandsons also of Colorado.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Thomas Beckett and Joseph Beckett.
Cremation under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Uvalde, Texas.
