Jean Cargil

Jean Cargil of Uvalde passed away on November 1, 2012 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 84. She was born on February 4, 1928 in Allen, Oklahoma to Samuel Veto and Annie Black Douglas. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Rimkus, Gail Toombs both of San Antonio and Nancy Barton and husband Buzz of Uvalde son, Steve Cargil and wife Nancy of Uvalde brother, Clifford Douglas of Natchez, Mississippi 12 grandchildren 13 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Cargil. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
