Jean B. Hale of Uvalde passed away on February 9, 2012 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at age of 81. She was born on October 17, 1930 in Williamson County, Texas to James A. and Iva Baker Bryce. She married Homer W. Hale on December 18, 1947 in Uvalde, TX. She is survived by daughter, Barbara Lowe of Uvalde two sons, Lonnie Hale and wife, Beth of Grand Prairie, TX and Wayne Hale of Uvalde, TX. four sisters, Joyce Hale of San Antonio, TX Pat Sweeten of Camp Wood, TX Margaret Oatman of Great Falls, Montana and Georgia Maddox of Frisco, TX. two brothers, James Bryce of Kyle, TX and Tommy Brice of Uvalde, TX grandchildren, Derek Hale Brandon Hale and wife, Ashley Jennifer Lowe Jamie Lowe Kayla Kitchens Haley Ritter, Landry Ritter and Caden Smith greatgrandchildren, Forrest LoweBupp Ivy Howard Emily Howard Manny Hale Jeanna Lowe Miles Hale and Brynx Hale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer A. Hale sister, Helen Redding grandson, Josh Lowe and greatgrandson, Thomas Michael Lowe. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 13, 2012, at 10:00 AM at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel with burial to follow in Uvalde Cemetery. Mr. King Burney will officiate. Pallbearers will be Derek Hale Wes Floehr Forest LoweBupp Brandon Hale Randal Harred Rodney Redding and Richard Wallace. Honorary pallbearers will be James Bryce Charles Henson Malcolm Oatman Myron Oatman Tommy Bryce Billy Jacob Milton Oatman and Leonard Poehler.
