Jerry Gallegos

Jerry F. Gallegos of Uvalde passed away on October 10, 2017 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 56. He was born on August 25, 1961 in Ontario, Oregon to Guadalupe "Wally" and Guadalupe (Fuentes) Gallegos. He married Lucy Hernandez on December 22, 1984.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years; daughter, Monica Gallegos; son, Jerry Gallegos, Jr. and companion, Mirena Martinez all of Uvalde; sisters, Virginia Ochoa, Dora Hall and Connie Gallegos all of Ontario, Oregon; brother, Gilbert Gallegos and wife, Jeanne of Portland, Oregon; 4 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A prayer service will be held on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tomas R. Hernandez, Jerry Gallegos, Jr., Daniel Herrera, Simon Ochoa, Jesse Rodriguez, Gilbert Gallegos, and Rey Rodriguez
