Jesse Polanco Jr.

Jesse James Soto Polanco Jr. of Uvalde passed away on November 9, 2009 in his residence at the age of 36. He was born on November 25, 1972 in Uvalde, Texas to James and Beatriz Polanco. He married Kathryn De La Garza on October 30, 2009 in Uvalde, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Polanco of Uvalde, Texas; mother, Beatriz Alvarez and step-father, Joe Alvarez of Uvalde, Texas, maternal grandmother, Guadalupe Aguirre of Uvalde, Texas; four daughter; Stephanie Polanco, Britney Polanco, Susan Polanco, and Kayla Polanco all of Uvalde, Texas; three sons; Jesse James Polanco III, Abraham Polanco and Michael Polanco all of Uvalde, Texas; four brothers; Randy Polanco of California; David Polanco and wife, Cindy of Hondo, Texas; Simon Alvarez and wife, Isabel and Adam Alvarez all of Uvalde, Texas; one grandson; Benito Martinez III; numerous aunts and uncles; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father; James Polanco, maternal grandfather, Marcos Aguirre, paternal grandparents; Fidel and Olga Polanco, paternal great grandparents; Pedro and Elodia Soto. A prayer service will be held on Thursday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. A rosary will be held on Wednesday and Friday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Hector Talavera Jr., Gilbert Talavera, Juan Polanco, Mario Gonzales, Benito Martinez Jr., Victor Garcia. Honorary pallbearers will be Jake Reyes, Laura Flores, and Anthony Reyes.
