Jesse Stewart

Jesse Lee Stewart of Uvalde passed away on March 9, 2008 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 76. He was born on May 5, 1931 in Turrell, Arkansas to Marion D. and Georgia Stewart. He married Blanca Mercado on November 3, 1990 in Del Rio, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 17 years Blanca Stewart of Uvalde, Texas; two daughters; Mary L. Cataldo of Eugene, Oregon; and Jessica E. Stewart of Uvalde, Texas; one sister; Rosie Wilkenson of Phoenix, AZ.; one brother; Marvin Stewart of Temecula, CA.; two grandchildren; one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and one sister. Cremation under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 7:00 PM at Templo Christiano.
