Jesus Fernandez

Jesus Chugy Fernandez of Uvalde passed away August 15, 2007 in N.E. Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Tx. at the age of 54.

He was born in Uvalde, Tx. on August 30, 1952 to Dolores Placido Fernandez, Sr.

He married Sylvia Gonzales in Uvalde, Tx. on March 11, 1995.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia G. Fernandez of Uvalde, Tx.; son, Ricardo Moreno, Jr. wife, Veronica Valerio of Uvalde, Tx.; sisters, Erma Fernandez Pauline Gaytan, husband, Pedro, all of Uvalde, Tx.; Mary Helen Biera husband, Gilbert of Castroville, Tx. Rosalinda Fernandez of Brackettville, Tx.; brothers, Placido Fernandez, Jr. wife, Susie Carlos Fernandez wife, Anna, all of Uvalde, Tx. Alberto Fernandez wife Henrietta of DHanis, Tx.; 3 grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A rosary will be held at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary on Thursday at 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 3:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Lee Biera, Jr.; Jose Luis Gutierrez; Juan Munoz; Albert Fernandez, Jr.; Carlos Fernandez, Jr.; Michael Eric Fernandez; Jesus Garcia, Jr. Braulio Gaytan. Honorary pallbearers are Joaquin L. Rodriguez; Pedro Gaytan; George Garza; Ronnie Garza; Hilario Gonzales; Frank Gonzales Rachel Fernandez.
