Jesus Flores

Jesus Chuy Flores of Sabinal passed away on December 12, 2012 at his residence at the age of 47. He was born on September 26, 1965 in Uvalde to Camilo and Inez Flores. He married Delia Rodriguez in DHanis on April 23, 1988. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Delia Rodriguez Flores daughters, Anastasia Flores and Kiaylah Rodriguez sons, John Carlos Flores and Christopher Flores 5 brothers and sisters, brothers and sisterin laws and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a wonderful husband and loving and supporting father to his 4 children. He proudly served as President of the Sabinal School Board, football referee and softball umpire. He graduated from Southwest Texas Junior College in Uvalde and The Radiology Tech Program after being on the Presidents and Deans List. He was also inducted as a Phi Theta Kappa, he and his family were very proud of that accomplishment. According to his instructor from the Radiology Tech Program at SWTJC, he was one of the best, most dedicated, hardworking students in his entire teaching career. He was also such a wonderful, faithful, God fearing man who was kind to every person he interacted with.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Antonio Flores and Jose Flores. A prayer service will be held on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel in Sabinal. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sabinal Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Rodriguez, Mario Rodriguez, Jose Luis Rodriguez, Enrique Rodriguez, Feno Rodriguez, Ruben Rodriguez, Juan Gutierrez and Hector Sonora. Honorary pallbearers will Manuel Flores and Juan Rodriguez. Pastor Raymond Rodriguez will officiate.
