Jesus Rodriguez

Jesus Jose Rodriguez of Sabinal passed away on September 26, 2015 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 85. He was born on January 26, 1930 in D'Hanis to Jacinto and Sapopa (Porter) Rodriguez, Sr. He married Sista Juanita Perez in Sabinal on September 15, 1968. He is survived by his wife; Sista Juanita P. Rodriguez of Sabinal, daughters; Julie Rodriguez of Burley, Idaho, Josephine R. Martinez and husband David of Sabinal and Sapopa Rodriguez of Sabinal; sons, Jesse Joe Rodriguez, Jr. and wife Stephanie, Daniel Rodriguez, Abel George Rodriguez and wife Melissa, Jacob Rodriguez, Johnny Angel Rodriguez all of Sabinal and Jerry Rodriguez of Pflugerville; sisters, Maria Leos, Martina Torres, Guadalupe Camacho, Carmen Alvarado all of Sabinal, Ninfa Martinez of Salt Lake City, Utah, Zenaida Arredondo of Rupert, Idaho and Anastacia Alvarado of California; twenty-two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jacinto Rodriguez, Jr., sister, Eva Rodriguez and nephew, Luis Rodriguez. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 and Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Sabinal. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sabinal. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jesse Joe Rodriguez, Jr., Daniel Rodriguez, Abel George Rodriguez, Jacob Rodriguez, Johnny Angel Rodriguez and Jerry Rodriguez.
