Jesus Montoya Jr.

Jesus Jesse Jacquez Montoya Jr. of Uvalde passed away on August 21, 2012 at his residence at the age of 38. He was born on July 17, 1974 in Uvalde to Jesus Ybarra Montoya and Rebecca Jacquez Acosta . He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Acosta and husband Louis, sisters, Oralia Young and husband Joe Herrera, Becky Montoya and husband Moses Alvarez and Mary Ann Mirelez and husband Tony Flores all of Uvalde, brother, Joe Mirelez and wife Alex Herrera of Weatherford, numerous nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandmother, Dominga Jacquez, maternal grandfather, Placido Jacquez and paternal grandmother, Soccoro Montoya. A rosary will be held on Wednesday August 22, 2012 and Thursday August 23, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday August 24, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Herrera, Michael Young, Moses Alvarez, Adam Alvarez, Ismael Vira Montes, Joe Mireles and Tony Flores.
