Jesus Silva

Jesus Reyes Silva of Uvalde passed away on August 2, 2021 in Sabinal at the age of 63.  He was born on November 27, 1957 in Roswell, New Mexico to Manuel Silva and Elisa Reyes.

He is survived by his sisters, Maria Silva of Uvalde, Texas, Elsa Silva Arreola of San Antonio, Texas and Yolanda Silva Serna of Houston, Texas; nieces and nephews, Rene Aguilar of Uvalde, Texas, Jennifer Garza of San Antonio, Texas, Christopher Serna, Jonathan Serna, Stephanie Serna and Kassandra Serna all of Houston, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Elisa Silva and nephew, Jesus Alberto Silva Riojas

Pallbearers will be Robert Polanco, Rene Aguilar, Kassandra Serna, Jennifer Garza, Christopher Serna and Jonathan Serna

Visitation will begin on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery.
