Jesus Villasana Sr.

Jesus Olivarez Villasana, Sr. of Sabinal passed away on April 16, 2008 in San Antonio at the age of 78. He was born on December 24, 1929 in Sabinal to Juan and Bonifacia Villasana. He married Thelma Morales on July 10, 1961 in Sabinal. He is survived by his wife of 46 years; two daughters, Julia Flores of Snyder, TX; and Laura Flores of Sabinal; two sons, Jesus Villasana, Jr. and Eusevio Villasana, both of Sabinal; brother, Jose Villasana of Sabinal; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Guadalupe, Gregorio, and Eusevio Villasana. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 18, 2008, at 3:00 PM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Sabinal with burial to follow in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jose Villasana, Jr.; Robert Villasana, Sr.; Patricio Villasana; Juan Amescua; Fabian Villasana; and Cory Villasana.
