Jimmie M. Nichols of La Pryor passed away on May 25, 2012 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 70. He was born on June 4, 1941 in Brackettville to Pascal and Katherine Smith Nichols. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Maria Guadalupe Alvarado and brother, Delbert Nichols and wife Nora of San Antonio. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Funeral services were held on Sunday May 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Burial followed at La Pryor Cemetery.
