Joe Guajardo

Joe Guajardo of Uvalde passed away on December 30, 2014 at Northeast Methodist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 51. He was born on February 28, 1963 in San Juan, Texas to Guadalupe and Beatrice Hernandez Guajardo. He married Veronica Longoria on August 17, 1983 in Uvalde. He is survived by his mother of San Angelo wife of 31 years daughters, Irene L. Guajardo and husband Juan Castro, Yvonne Guzman and husband Johnny all of Uvalde and Roxanne Longoria of Kansas sons, Rikki Joe Longoria of San Juan sisters, Rosa Maria Ramirez of San Angelo, Alicia Ibarra of Sonora, Diana Ibarra of San Angelo, Rebecca Garcia of Weslaco, Mary Helen Mendez of Odessa, and Anita Vasquez of Uvalde brothers, Jesus Guajardo, Estevan Guajardo both of Uvalde, Juan Guajardo of Midland and Peter Guajardo of Yancey 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Frank Guajardo. A prayer service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jesus Guajardo, Estevan Guajardo, Juan Guajardo, Peter Guajardo, Joshua Guajardo and Robert Vasquez.
