Joe Riso Jr.

Joe Ray Riso Jr. of Sabinal passed away on November 12, 2008 in Medina Community Hospital in Hondo, Texas at the age of 44. He was born on September 19, 1964 in Lubbock, Texas to Joe Ray and Maria Riso Sr. He married Blanca Santillano on December 31, 1997 in Uvalde, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 11 years Blanca Riso of Sabinal, Texas; mother; Maria Riso of San Antonio, Texas; father; Joe Ray Riso Sr. of Lytle, Texas; one daughter; Ana Michelle Modgling and husband, Joshua of Sabinal, Texas; three sons; Martin Perez and wife, Rosalinda and Jared Riso all of Uvalde, Texas; Guadalupe Portillo and wife, Laura Michelle of Abilene, Texas; one brother; Manuel Riso and wife, Rachel of San Antonio, Texas; six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A rosary will be held on Thursday at 7:30 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel in Sabinal. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 2:00 PM at St. Patricks Catholic Church with burial to follow in Sabinal Cemetery.
