Joe Samarron

Joe "Bubbles" Samarron of Uvalde passed away on March 29, 2018 in San Antonio at the age of 55. He was born on October 8, 1962 in Uvalde to Telesforo A. Samarron, Jr. and Ella Mariscal Samarron. He is survived by his mother, Ella Samarron of Uvalde; sister, Soña Samarron of Atascosa; brother, Sean Samarron and wife, Lori of Liberty Hill; nieces and nephews, Cash Samarron, Jett Samarron, and Teddi Samarron; Unike Rodriguez, Aaliyah Ortiz, and Ricardo Ortiz, Jr.; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father. A rosary will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. Steve Peyton will officiate. Pallbearers will be Mark Diaz, Luis Diaz, Jr., Bobby Ornelas, Michael Mariscal, Juan Camacho, and Frank Diaz. Honorary pallbearers will be David Chapa and Fernando Rodriguez.
