Johanna Thrasher

Johanna Weber Thrasher of Utopia passed away on June 21, 2009 in Carrizo Springs Nursing Rehab Center at the age of 95. She was born on January 20, 1914 in Hondo Creek, Texas to Fritz W. and Emma Weber. She is survived by daughter; Theresa Wagner and husband, David of Crystal City, Texas; granddaughters; Jennifer Wagner Brady and husband, Eben of Carrizo Springs, Texas; and Allison Wagner and fianc, Mark Wells of New Ulm, Texas; grandson; Douglas Wagner of Bryan, Texas; one great granddaughter; Nikki Brady; one great grandson; Kolton Brady; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Douglas R. Thrasher, two brothers; Reinhardt and Fritz Weber; and one sister; Josephine Titsworth. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 10:00 AM in Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel in Sabinal with burial to follow in Sabinal Cemetery. Rev. Mike Stone will officiate. Pallbearers will be Douglas Wagner, Regan Mazurek, Robert Mazurek, Robert Schmidt, Robert Hudson, John Hillis, Donnie Batot, and John McFadin. Honorary pallbearers will be John Dale Chaney, J.D. Schmidt, L.B. Truelove, Leslie Mazurek, Jimmy Henry, Ray Henry, Felix Real, Rusty Redden, Austin Schaefer Jr., Charlie Baumer and David Rainey. Memorial donations may be made to Utopia EMS, P.O.
