John Bunjes

John Vernon Bunjes of Uvalde passed away on March 02, 2014 in Uvalde at the age of 91. He was born on May 4, 1922 in Houston, Texas to John Martin and Verna Parks Bunjes. He is survived by his daughter Janie Alderete and husband Marcelino, Jr. of Uvalde: son John Darrell Bunjes of Harlingen, Texas grandchildren Dustin Slubar, Marcelino Alderete, Josh Alderete, Erica Bunjes, Angelina Bunjes, Aaron Bunjes, Sarah Bunjes and Ashley Bunjes: great grandchild, Grayson Slubar and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandson Bryan Slubar. A Graveside service will be held on March 5, 2014 at 10 am at Masonic Cemetery in Brackettville, Texas.
